At Golden West Nuts, Inc., we process and market our
own almonds as well as the crops of farmers throughout
California - from Chico to Bakersfield. We have a complete
receiving, hulling, shelling and processing facility
in Ripon, California. Our Chico, California operations
include a receiving station as well as consumer products
packaging for our Harvest
Shop. Golden West has USDA approved
receiving, sampling and testing facilities
in Ripon and Chico.
Our low overhead and excellent sales staff enables
us to pay top returns to growers. As growers ourselves,
we understand the efforts required to produce a quality
almond crop.
Because quality products bring a premium in the marketplace,
we can pass that premium on to our growers. Our Equitable
Premium and Charge Schedule rewards growers for producing
a top-quality product and can significantly increase
a growers’ final returns. Growers can earn up to
$ .16 per pound for quality deliveries.
