Golden West Nuts, Inc. was established in 1983 by Steve
Gikas and Jon Hoff. With an excellent reputation for
consistency in grower payments and quality products
the company has continued to grow. Today Golden West
Nuts, Inc. processes and markets our own almonds as
well as the crops of farmers throughout California.
We have a complete receiving, hulling, shelling and
processing facility
in Ripon, California. Our Chico, California operations
include a receiving station as well as consumer products
packaging for our Harvest
Shop. During our peak season, over 200 employees
handle all phases of almond production, from growing
to packaging and shipping.
Today Golden West Nuts, Inc. is one of the largest independent
almond processing companies in the U.S. Whole natural
almonds, as well as blanched, sliced and slivered almonds
are processed and shipped to food processors all over
the world.
